Senior SharePoint Business Analyst with technical expertise in SharePoint site design, administration, and configuration as well as hands-on experience with SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 migration.

Successful candidate will be an integral part of an existing company 6-person SharePoint project team responsible for the enterprise-wide migration from SharePoint 2010 Foundation to SharePoint 2013 Enterprise on-premises edition. This position will work closely with a wide range of division representatives, from directors to individual contributors, to guide them through content migration preparation and execution activities. The successful candidate must be proficient at documenting, testing, and evaluating the newly introduced SharePoint 2013 functions and applications and have demonstrated experience in analysis and implementation on a large SharePoint migration project. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Understand holistically what the business does and how it operates day-to-day
- Work with divisions to complete migration preparation and execution activities
- Help divisions organize and map existing SharePoint 2010 content into new SharePoint 2013 sites and libraries
- Capture business requirements and create SharePoint 2013 site mockups
- Identify required content types, managed metadata applicable to SharePoint 2013, and apply appropriate content organization strategies based on specific divisional needs
- Implement short-term content optimization recommendations while driving toward enterprise-level process standardization and efficiency
- Document and identify additional pain points in each division to populate process improvement backlog and identify potential high-level solutions to be implemented in the future
- Respond to problems and propose solutions for adjustments promptly and efficiently
- Participate and provide input in project team meetings

Required:

Proven business analysis experience, 12 years

Technical expertise in SharePoint site design, administration, & configuration (including managed metadata, out of the box workflow, & content types), 5 years

Hands-on experience in a SharePoint 2010 to 2013 on-premises (NOT cloud) large migration initiative, 1 year

Expertise in content optimization strategies and tactical implications, 5 years

Experience in business process improvement initiatives leveraging Sharepoint platform, 5 years

Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and to work both independently and in a team environment, 7 years

Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, 7 years

Superior verbal and written communication skills, 7 years

Experience working across organizational boundaries and with diverse stakeholders, 7 years

Legally eligible to be hired as a State employee

Desired:

Proficiency with ShareGate or other SharePoint migration tools

Sharepoint development experience

Project management experience
