SharePoint Business Analyst who will work closely with a Senior SharePoint Business Analyst on enterprise-wide migration from SharePoint 2010 Foundation to SharePoint 2013 Enterprise on-premises edition.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of an existing 6-person SharePoint project team responsible for the enterprise-wide migration from SharePoint 2010 Foundation to SharePoint 2013 Enterprise on-premises edition. This position will assist the Senior SharePoint Business Analyst in working closely with a wide range of division representatives, from directors to individual contributors, to guide them through content migration preparation and execution activities. The successful candidate must be proficient at documenting, testing, and evaluating the newly introduced SharePoint 2013 functions and applications and have demonstrated experience in analysis and implementation on a large SharePoint migration project. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Help divisions organize and map existing SharePoint 2010 content into new SharePoint 2013 sites and libraries
- Assist in capturing business requirements and creating SharePoint 2013 site mockups
- Assisting in defining required content types, managed metadata applicable to SharePoint 2013, and apply appropriate content organization strategies based on specific divisional needs
-Documenting and assisting in implementation of short-term content optimization recommendations while driving toward enterprise-level process standardization and efficiency
- Documenting and identifying additional pain points in each division to populate process improvement backlog and identify potential high-level solutions to be implemented in the future
- Responding to problems and proposing solutions for adjustments promptly and efficiently
- Participating and providing input in project team meetings

Required:

Proven business analysis experience - 5 years

Technical expertise in SharePoint site design, administration, & configuration (including manned metadata, out of the box workflow, & content types) - 3 years

Hands-on experience in a SharePoint migration initiative - 1 year

Knowledge of content optimization strategies and tactical implications - 2 years

Knowledge of business process improvement initiatives leveraging SharePoint platform - 3 years

Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and work both independently and in a team environment - 5 years

Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills - 5 years

Superior verbal and written communication skills - 5 years

Experience working across organizational boundaries and with diverse stakeholders - 3 years

Legally eligible to be hired as a state employee

Microsoft Sharepoint certification(s), CBAP, AIIM Content/Document Management certifications

Desired:

Proficiency with ShareGate or other SharePoint migration tools

SharePoint development experience
